Seriously, yes I'm a huge smart @ss. I love to have fun by cutting up, and being a goof is great stress relief. I do have a serious side and it comes out when needed. Those I consider my friends will always have my support no matter what. We all need support at sometime so each of us should always be willing to give it if necessary.

A true hero to me. That can be many people. Family, friends, a single mother who makes sacrifices so her kids have the best she can provide, anyone willing to chase a dream and not listen to the "haters", people who don't quit after the first try, anyone who is true to themselves and honest with other people including strangers. This list could go on and on but if the quality of your character shines through you are a hero to me.

    Straighter IS Greater!

Wow, what a 4000 abralon pad and polish will do for a ball. Took my original No Mercy and resurfaced it to 4000 and added polish on top of that. Was having issues after game 2 with the oil just completely burnt up and no look. I'm thinking this will be my 3rd game ball. Well, NO! In practice I had the look with this from the get go on the fresh so I stuck with it. Playing right up 10, and not a belly, left foot lined up on 10 1\2-11 and firing it straight up 10 at 19 mph I absolutely crushed them. 246-268-249 for 763. My only open (ring 10 1st frame 1st game), and a few other ring 10's and a light 4 kept me from shooting 800.

If you can get solid roll and and clean release, playing straight is sometimes the best option. If it's not your A or B game try adding it to your shot selection.

    Bowling Or Is It!?!?!

Sunday, September 7, 2008, 01:03 AM EST [General]

    Ok,

Took a major break this Summer. No regionals, no PBAX league, didn't bowl a damn thing since the first week of June. Haven't drilled anything new since I drilled my Cell way back at the beginning of the year. So I'm thinking about skipping league altogether this Winter but ended up jumping into an easy house shot (at least it use to be) scratch league that I bowled last year. I bowl one practice game and find out the shot is DIFFERENT this year. No outside dry-bump-help as in years past. Let's say, this was not a dead wall. You had to make shots. So I go buck90 for my warm up and then for league I go 140 (ahhhhhh), 223, 219 for 582. Why is this a big deal, maybe it's not. But for a 3 month layoff and bowling on something hard that's not too bad. My last two games were CLEAN, thank you very much, and even converted the 2-10 split. And YES, I used my plastic ball for all my spares. Will I bowl any PBA stuff in the future? Who knows. Only time will tell. At least with 3 months off my left knee feels like BRAND NEW so maybe it was a good thing to take some time off this Summer for the first time since 2003.

    Bowl Well, E...
